P.A.'s Life in a Nutshell is the B part of the seventh episode of Season 2 of Pepper Ann and the thirty-seventh segment overall. It was paired with "Presenting Stewart Walldinger" and originally aired on November 14, 1998.
Summary[]
Pepper Ann wants to go to the Springtime Late-night Flashback Jam, but Lydia won't let her stay out that late. She sneaks out and goes anyway, then writes an article about it for Milo and Stewart's 'zine, Within the Nutshell.
Everyone loves it because they can identify with it, but Lydia finds the article and grounds her for sneaking out. Pepper Ann insists that her mom doesn't understand, but then she finds one of Lydia's old journals in the attic and realizes they're more alike than she thought.
