Margaret Rose "Moose" Pearson is the daughter of Lydia and Chuck Pearson and the younger sister of Pepper Ann. Her maternal grandparents are Grandpa Leo and Grandma Lillian.

A lot of people, including some of her relatives, mistake Moose for a boy due to her deep voice and tomboyish behaviors. However, this doesn't seem to bother her in the least.

Skateboarding is one of her hobbies, and she and her friend Crash do a lot of it. She also enjoys "Genetic Dozen" comics and playing with her Tundra Woman action figures. Her other interests include talking about her idol Evel Kineval, drinking Chill-Aide, and whatever Lydia happens to be making for dinner.

Personality[]

Moose is stoic and sensible, in contrast to her older sister Pepper Ann.

Appearance[]

Moose has short, brown hair and two front teeth sticking out of her mouth. She wears an emerald-colored long shirt and red shorts. Moose also wears white sneakers with pink and yellow socks.

Trivia[]

Moose shares the same traits as Ashley Spinelli from another Disney animated TV series "Recess", due to same voice actress and tomboyish character.

  • Both are voiced by Pamela Segall Adlon, with the exception of different levels of pitch (hers is deep and low in contrast to Spinelli's high-pitched and scratchy).
  • Both dislike taking part in girly activities; they prefer boyish activities and hanging out with male friends - Moose likes skateboarding and her friend is a boy named Crash, whereas Spinelli likes wrestling, is easily angered and prone to violence, and her friends are mostly boys, other than one girl, plus her mother forces her to behave in a more feminine manner when it comes to museum visit in "More Like Gretchen".

Her nickname is revealed in The Way They Were to have come from Dieter Liederhosen when he noticed someone's chocolate mousse and took a taste out of it.

Moose has a crush on a boy named Sean, who turns out to be the son of Margot LeSandre in Moose In Love.
