Flaming Snot

Flaming Snot is a fictional punk band which exists within the universe of Pepper Ann and is massively popular, particularly with students at Hazelnut Middle School. They appear briefly in the first episode, "Ziterella," where they proclaim their love for Abe's Mall in Hazelnut, because it's the only place they can find Plimpton's Pimple Cream (which they use as a hair product) for 50 percent off.

The band only ever appears to have two members, both of whom are voiced by Rob Paulsen. Mick Snot is the lead singer and songwriter. The other member, apparently the lead guitarist, is never named. In their first appearance, the guitarist appeared to be the front man, but in all future episodes, Mick Snot has clearly taken over that role.

In the episode "Snot Your Mother's Music," Pepper Ann is excited to go to a Flaming Snot concert, but tickets sell out immediately. Pepper Ann soon discovers, much to her surprise, that her Mom went to junior college with Mick Snot and remains good friends with him.

The band end up being thrown out of their hotel after trashing their room and Mick Snot stays at the Pearson house, where Pepper Ann discovers that he's much different from his stage presence. Lydia kicking him back out and telling him to "Get a grip!" inspires Flaming Snot's next hit single.

The band and their music is mentioned or referenced numerous additional times throughout the series. Merchandise visible in various episodes includes CDs, posters, T-shirts, and even Mick Snot Baggy Bean Buddy toys. Die-hard fans of the band are referred to as Snot-heads.
